Terms of sale and refund

 

The present General Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter referred to as ‘General Terms and Conditions’), exclusively regulate the contractual relations between the customers of the site electroafrica.com (hereinafter referred to as ‘Customers’) and the seller ElettroAfrica. These General Terms and Conditions are the only ones that may be applied and supersede all other conditions, unless derogated from in advance, expressly and in writing. ElettroAfrica may be obliged to modify some of these provisions; therefore, the Customers are advised to read the General Conditions each time they visit the site https://elettroafrica.com (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Site’). These changes shall be enforceable as of the date of going online and shall not apply to contracts concluded prior thereto. Any purchase on the Site is subject to the General Terms and Conditions of Sale applicable on the date of the order. ElettroAfrica trusts that, once the order is validated, the Customers have read and accepted without reservation the General Terms and Conditions of Sale. The Customers undertake to comply with the General Terms and Conditions of Use detailed on the same.

To place an order on the Site, Customers have several possibilities. Upon validation of the order, an email will be sent to the Customers to confirm the registration of the order. The order process consists of several steps. Once the product has been added to the cart and accepted the General Terms and Conditions of Sale by ticking the appropriate box on the order summary page, the customer has two options; either to proceed directly to payment via Paypal without registering, or to proceed to registration and make payment via other payment methods. Once the payment method has been selected, customers shall proceed to the settlement of the order, which will firmly and definitively formalise the sales contract that binds them to our company.

ElettroAfrica pays particular attention to placing the essential characteristics and information of the products online by means of technical data sheets prepared by its partners and/or suppliers and by means of illustrative photographs of the products, within the limits of technology and in compliance with the best market standards. All catalogue photos are included for illustrative purposes and do not necessarily reflect the actual product.

ElettroAfrica’s Products are not supplied on trial. Although the operators may provide indications on the characteristics of the Products, the Customer is responsible for the choice of the Products ordered and for the compliance and conformity of the specifications indicated by each manufacturer with its own requirements, The Customer is aware that he/she is purchasing a new or used product (used products may have slight imperfections, scratches or signs of wear and tear that cannot be considered grounds for withdrawal of the order).

Where not specified, refurbished computers do not come with accessories such as keyboards and mice.

Not all personal computers and laptops come with an operating system. Only when it is specified and when they are supplied with an original licence do we consider them to have the operating system.

The sales prices indicated on the Site are expressed in euros (€) and include VAT and do not always include delivery charges. The prices indicated on the Site are also expressed, for countries belonging to the European Community, in the national currency, without this having any commercial value. The list price is in euros and is systematically and clearly indicated before the order is confirmed. ElettroAfrica reserves the right to change prices at any time, but is equally committed to applying the prices indicated on the Site at the time the order is placed.

Customers’ orders are fulfilled within the quantity of products available. If the product ordered is not available, ElettroAfrica will contact the Customers by e-mail within 3 working days from the date of the order in order to suggest a product of equivalent quality and price. In case of refusal by the Customer, ElettroAfrica will proceed to refund the unavailable product. In case only some of the ordered products are unavailable, ElettroAfrica will contact the customer and immediately ship the available products as requested by the customer.

Products purchased on the Site can be delivered throughout Italy, including the islands, and abroad. The order will be delivered to the address indicated at the time of ordering or to our delivery centers for African countries. For deliveries in Italy, if the item is available in stock, the expected delivery date is determined by the combination of the following 2 elements 1. The shipping time (from 24 to 48 hours): verification of the reliability of the information provided when the account is settled + preparation of the order + handling of the parcel(s) by the carrier 2. the delivery time of the parcel(s) by the carrier chosen by the company. For countries outside the European Community, the delivery time may be longer, so ElettroAfrica will inform the customer of this in good time.

For deliveries within Italy, the delivery of available products takes 2-4 working days in the case of shipment by courier. Choosing this type of delivery allows you to receive your order at the address indicated within 48 hours thanks to the courier company chosen by the Company.

ElettroAfrica offers its customers various payment options: bank transfer, paypal, credit card. As regards payment by credit card, the charge is made after the order has been validated, provided authorisation has been obtained from the competent banking bodies, without which the order will be considered null and void. Online payment by credit card is made thanks to the ‘Secure Socket Layer’ system, which enables the encryption of bank data when they are transmitted over the network via Paypal.

Warranty and service – All products sold by ElettroAfrica are covered by a 6-month warranty unless otherwise specified on the product page. The warranty is valid on the receipt and/or invoice to be kept until the end of the warranty period. If the product purchase receipt is missing, the warranty is no longer valid.

Returns – All items sold online have 20 days from the moment of payment for free returns. This must be communicated by email (refunds@elettroafrica.com).
